I love grading. It’s one of those kinds of projects where results are immediate. Like mowing a lawn. So you feel your progress and see the improvement as you go. Today we grade our newest section of drive with the Summit TX25 and the Dirt Dog 48 Land Plane. There is a section of this drive that is rather sloped from one side to the other, so we’re going to experiment and not crown this section in hopes that water will shed downhill. Time will tell if this is a mistake or not. But if it is, we’ll just hop back on the tractor and re-grade!
