We just finished running a tiller to grind up and separate the several inches of soil on the road we’re building down to the lake. But we’re going to now switch to a box blade and use the scarifiers (ripper shanks) to see if we can get a comparable result with a cheaper attachment. And then we’ll use the box blade to begin removing the loosened topsoil. We’ll see if there is a clear standout as a better attachment for the job.
