Our extended warranties cover defects in workmanship such as broken welds, torn steel, or improper fit. If a covered issue occurs, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
Damage caused by improper use or use outside the product’s intended purpose voids the warranty.
Cosmetic wear such as paint loss, scratches, dents, or bent teeth, as well as normal wear to common attachment components and consumables including cutting edges, shanks, tines, skid runners, skid shoes, blades, belts, bushings, bearings, oils, grease, and similar wear items is not covered under warranty.
Shipping or transportation costs, downtime, and labor are not covered.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner/operator.
Wallenstein Skid Steer Powered Horizontal / Vertical Log-Splitter
The WX470 is a log splitting solution powered by your Skid Steer’s hydraulics, from Canadian manufacturer, Wallenstein. This splitter is horizontally oriented, but you can release a pin and set it to split vertically so you don’t have to lift logs up onto the splitting bed.
The WX470 has a 20 Ton split capacity with a 24″ split opening and requires 10 gpm of hydraulic flow. The splitter is designed for an SSQA mount.
To return the cylinder, just pull back on the lever and it will return to its starting position automatically, and then pop into neutral.
A 2-Way Wide Wedge is included that pops the log in a short distance. A 4-Way Wedge is an option.
Clamp-On Shelves are also available as an option to catch your split logs when splitting horizontally.
An optional stroke limiter is available to stop the cylinder from fully retracting, reducing your cycle time by almost 50% (for use on shorter logs).
All in all this is a well thought out log splitters.
