Dirt Dog makes a 3-Point Subsoiler for compact tractors 25–45 horsepower that still reaches 25 inches into the ground! A subsoiler is used for cutting through hardpan that develops in uncultivated land. This hardpan prevents drainage which can cause root rot for your crop, and also prevents roots from penetrating deep to find extra nutrients.
Dirt Dog’s Compact Subsoiler uses a high-carbon, wear resistant steel shank combined with a heat-treated and replaceable plow point. Should you run into an immovable object, the subsoiler is protected by a shear pin. Some folks have found a subsoiler useful for laying wire or pipe also.

What’s Covered
Our extended warranties cover defects in workmanship such as broken welds, torn steel, or improper fit. If a covered issue occurs, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
Damage caused by improper use or use outside the product’s intended purpose voids the warranty.
Cosmetic wear such as paint loss, scratches, dents, or bent teeth, as well as normal wear to common attachment components and consumables including cutting edges, shanks, tines, skid runners, skid shoes, blades, belts, bushings, bearings, oils, grease, and similar wear items is not covered under warranty.
Shipping or transportation costs, downtime, and labor are not covered.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner/operator.
