Split-Fire 3-Pt Wood Chipper Description
The Split-fire 4003 rethinks 3-pt hitch wood chipper design. Designed for safety, ease of use and productivity with three available setup positions for the in-feed and exhaust chutes. Fitted with a heavy-duty gearbox, a 100 lb rotor and 3/8” steel plate chipping box the 4003 wood chipper is effective for branches and limbs up to 4”. A large, 6″ rotor opening to reduces pre-trimming, and accepts leafy and Y-shaped branches with ease.
The 4003 is a great option for any compact or mid frame tractor. Built for tractors in the 20–80 hp range, this chipper fully utilizes all that power and torque. The category I & II 3 Point hitch configuration allows easy hookup. Several options are available to allow you to configure the chipper specifically for your needs.
A 3-pt attachment requires less maintenance than a unit powered by its own motor.
