What’s Covered
Our extended warranties cover defects in workmanship such as broken welds, torn steel, or improper fit. If a covered issue occurs, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
Damage caused by improper use or use outside the product’s intended purpose voids the warranty.
Cosmetic wear such as paint loss, scratches, dents, or bent teeth, as well as normal wear to common attachment components and consumables including cutting edges, shanks, tines, skid runners, skid shoes, blades, belts, bushings, bearings, oils, grease, and similar wear items is not covered under warranty.
Shipping or transportation costs, downtime, and labor are not covered.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner/operator.
Dirt Dog Loader Mounted Bale Spear Highlights
Don’t be fooled! The BSS is Dirt Dog’s Single-Prong Bale Spear for your front-end loader, but it has three spears in total. The top spear is your main spear with 42 1/2″ of length. The bottom two spears are shorter, stabilizing spears to prevent the bale from rolling.
The BSD is the double spear model with two 42 1/2″ spears and a taller frame for stabilizing the bale. Both models are available in JDQA or SSQA for your tractor’s loader. Just be sure your tractor has the lift capacity to lift a round bale, and always make sure you operate with counterweight on the rear when using your loader! Alternatively, consider Dirt Dog’s 3-Point Bale Spear, as tractor’s often have more lift capacity in the rear than in the front.
