What’s Not Covered
Damage caused by improper use or use outside the product’s intended purpose voids the warranty.
Cosmetic wear such as paint loss, scratches, dents, or bent teeth, as well as normal wear to common attachment components and consumables including cutting edges, shanks, tines, skid runners, skid shoes, blades, belts, bushings, bearings, oils, grease, and similar wear items is not covered under warranty.
Shipping or transportation costs, downtime, and labor are not covered.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner/operator.
Wallenstein Skid Steer Wood Chipper Description
This Wallenstein BXH42 Wood Chipper mounts to your skid steer’s loader to drive to where your chipping action is needed. Rated for limbs and branches up to 4” (BX36S), action is powered directly from your skid steer’s hydraulics, minimum 25 gpm necessary.
Branches are fed at an angle to the rotor, requiring less horsepower and saving fuel. The discharge chute can be rotated and an adjustable deflector provides lots of control to direct your wood chips. Limbs pass over the Twig Breaker, helping break the material into finer chips yet.
Protection
If something gets lodged in the chipper, a check valve is there for when you turn off the skidsteer and the oil flow stops but the rotor is still spinning. The hydraulic motor driving the rotor starts to be driven by the rotor at that point (it becomes a pump instead of a motor) and needs to be able to continue to move oil. The check valve allows this.
The relief protection for a case of stalling out the rotor is provided by the pressure relief on the skidsteer.
