Wessex 3-Point Tiller Description
Wessex calls it a Rotavator, but we call it a 3-Point Rototiller or Rotary Tiller. Whatever you decide to call this tractor attachment, it’s made to cultivate soil to plant food plots, gardens, or crops. We’ve also used a tiller to install a driveway, softening the top soil we want to remove to before installing the gravel (tilling makes for much easier scooping with a bucket once it’s been tilled, if your ground is hard like ours).
Further, we used a 3-point tiller when we leveled a bumpy, uneven section of our lawn. It was the first step in a process with several tools, and you can watch a video on how we leveled our lawn here.
The Wessex RC 3-Point Tiller come with benefits normally seen on equipment with a considerably higher price tag, including:
- A friction plate clutch
- An adjustable tailgate
These tillers are available in three widths, and designed for tractors from 20 horsepower up to 40.
