What is UHMW? UHMW stands for Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene, sometimes called poly or plastic. It’s best summed up by saying “it cuts like steel, but protects like rubber.” This unique cutting edge for your HLA Snow Pusher has great wear properties, cuts well through packed snow, is very quiet, and protective of paved/concrete surfaces. UHMW also last nearly as long as steel.
