This Gen II Mini Electric Grapple from Worksaver has major improvements over the first generation, and is still the perfect grapple solution for tractors under 32 horsepower that lack hydraulics run to their front-end loader.
When a manufacturer makes product improvements it implies at least two things: the product is selling well, and they care about making the highest quality product possible.
This 48″ grapple relies on an electric actuator to open and close the grapple, which has now doubled the clamping force compared to Gen I, giving you 2,000 lb of clamping force vs 1,000 lb. Doubled!
And this improved second generation grapple comes with a brushless motor vs brushed, and fully sealed thumb control. And also a potentiometer to monitor amp draw (which will shut off if overloaded, instead or relying on a shear pin and slip clutch to prevent damage).

Cosmetic wear such as paint loss, scratches, dents, or bent teeth, as well as normal wear to common attachment components and consumables including cutting edges, shanks, tines, skid runners, skid shoes, blades, belts, bushings, bearings, oils, grease, and similar wear items is not covered under warranty.
Shipping or transportation costs, downtime, and labor are not covered.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner/operator.
Worksaver Generation II Mini Electric Grapple ESCG-48 Overview
No auxiliary hydraulics needed for this grapple!
Worksaver’s Mini Electric Grapple is special in two ways. First it’s sized and engineered for small subcompact tractors less than 32hp.
Second, unlike a traditional grapple that requires a third function, this one is electric! No additional hydraulics required! Instead it is powered by your tractor battery. There is no cheaper way to get the advantages of a grapple than by going electric.
The wiring harness has a quick disconnect toward the grapple end, making connection to your attachment quick and easy.
It’s available in JDQA and SSQA connections for your loader (Models ESCGSS-48A and ESCGJD-48A).
Fabricated from 3/8″ steel, they still maintain a light weight so as to not waste your loader’s lift capacity.
This grapple design is great for collecting debris, downed branches, brush piles, firewood, decorative or unwanted rocks, and lots lots more.
This Worksaver grapple is made in the USA, super light at 247 lb (for limited capacity loaders on small tractors), includes a weather-sealed thumb control, no additional hydraulics required, and easy installation!

A note about safety!
Whenever you are putting a load on the front-end of your tractor, you need to counter that weight on the back end. This is accomplished many ways. One of which is just by hanging weights off your 3-Point. We have a great solution for this in our Counterweight Bundle.
